Recent drill results from the Petit Yao target near the Koné processing plant show high-grade intercepts, with mineralization confirmed over a 1.1km strike length and 150m depth. Additional drilling is planned to be completed by year-end, aiming to publish a maiden resource for Petit Yao and update resources for other deposits.

Initial results include high-grade intercepts like 6.0m at 7.26 g/t Au from 55m. A total of 4,068m have been drilled at Petit Yao this year, with further drilling planned. The discovery at Petit Yao is expected to add significant value to the Koné project due to its potential high-grade profile and proximity to existing infrastructure.

A preliminary metallurgical test on 25 samples showed good gold recoveries, with further testwork ongoing. Future exploration plans include completing the current drilling program at Petit Yao, infill drilling at Koné and Gbongogo Main deposits, and updating mineral resource estimates for various targets. Montage Gold aims to become a leading African gold producer with its Koné project in Côte d’Ivoire.
