Morgan Stanley Investment Management launches a new semi-liquid fund, the Private Markets ELTIF, targeting middle markets in Europe, the US, and Asia. The fund offers monthly subscriptions and quarterly redemptions under the updated ELTIF 2.0 framework, focusing on trends like digitization and sustainability. BlackRock and Schroders Capital are among other firms launching ELTIFs.

Major asset managers like KKR, EQT, and Partners Group are also taking advantage of the relaxed rules under ELTIF 2.0 to file or relaunch products. The industry is shifting towards semi-liquid structures to bridge the gap between institutional private markets and high-net-worth retail investors. This move follows the broader trend of offering greater access to private markets for individual investors.
