The Nordex Group has secured an order to supply 12 wind turbines for the Drumnahough Wind Farm in Ireland, with a total capacity of ca.60 MW. The project is a joint venture between SSE and FuturEnergy Ireland, and Nordex will also provide long-term maintenance services. Installation is set to begin in 2027, marking a significant step in Ireland’s renewable energy efforts. Jason Welch, Managing Director UK & Ireland at Nordex, expressed delight at being chosen for this project.
