The contract includes restoration and development services at MMG’s base metal operation, expanding Pybar’s work scope at the site located 300km north-west of Hobart, operating for almost 90 years. The mine produces zinc, copper, lead concentrates, gold, and silver payability, crucial for global industries. Thiess Group executive chair excited about the award, acknowledging Pybar’s expertise and expanding focus on critical minerals. Pybar also appointed as underground development contractor at Hillgrove antimony-gold project in New South Wales, Australia.
