Saab signs a 3.1 billion euro contract with the Colombian Government for 17 Gripen E/F fighter aircraft, as part of Colombia’s defense modernization program. Delivery is set between 2026-2032, with 15 Gripen E single-seat and 2 Gripen F two-seat aircraft included, along with equipment, weapons, training, and support services.
In addition to the aircraft deal, Saab and Colombia signed offset agreements for military and social projects, promoting industrial cooperation in aeronautics, cybersecurity, healthcare, sustainable energy, and water purification technology. These agreements aim to extend the benefits of the contract beyond defense.
