Seatrium has secured a contract from BP for the Tiber floating production unit in the Gulf of Mexico, with a production capacity of 80,000 barrels of crude oil per day. This marks Seatrium’s second deep-water assignment for BP, following the Kaskida FPU award. The Tiber FPU will process oil from the Tiber and Guadalupe fields, positioned 300 miles southwest of New Orleans in water depths of around 4,100ft. Seatrium will replicate over 85% of the design from the Kaskida FPU, employing a single-lift integration method using Goliath twin cranes. This project adds to Seatrium’s growing portfolio of FPUs for global energy operators.
