South Africa’s Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources granted a mining right for Uru Metals’ Zeb nickel project on the Northern Limb of the Bushveld complex. The 30-year mining right covers over 4,703 hectares in the Mogalakwena local municipality in Limpopo province. Uru Metals is progressing with ground surveys to refine drill targets, with updates expected after registration. CEO John Zorbas highlighted the de-risking of the project and the focus on quality partners. The company is dedicated to advancing critical metals projects in South Africa, with previous environmental authorization secured for the Zeb nickel project.
