Soybeans open Tuesday trade with 3-6 cent losses after Monday’s gains. Open interest up 15,277 contracts, suggesting new buying. CBoT reports 125 deliveries issued overnight, totaling 1,707 for the month. Soymeal futures up $0.40 to $2.90, Soy Oil futures 90 to 94 points higher.
USDA reports 1.089 MT (39.99 mbu) soybean export shipments in the week ending November 6. Up 10.5% from the week prior but down 53.9% from last year. Top destinations include Pakistan, Egypt, and Indonesia. Marketing year exports for 2025/26 now at 8.889 MMT (326.626 mbu), 42% lower than last year.
China excluded from destination list as US FOB offers rise above Brazilian offers. Nov 25 Soybeans closed at $11.16, up 14 1/4 cents. Nearby Cash at $10.56 3/4, up 12 3/4 cents. Jan 26 Soybeans closed at $11.30, up 13 cents. Mar 26 Soybeans closed at $11.39 1/4, up 13 1/2 cents.
