Taser-maker Axon Enterprise missed third-quarter profit estimates due to higher costs from tariffs, causing shares to drop 20%. The company warned earlier of disruptions from the tariff war affecting operations and limiting exports. Axon, known for police body cameras, plans to raise prices to offset tariff impacts on suppliers.

Chief Financial Officer Brittany Bagley predicted a more significant tariff impact in the second half of the year. Axon earned $1.17 per share in Q3, falling short of analysts’ $1.52 estimate. Revenue was $710.6 million, surpassing the $703.5 million forecast. The company expects 2025 revenue to reach $2.74 billion.

Axon announced the acquisition of Carbyne, an emergency communications platform, for $625 million. The deal is set to close in the first quarter of 2026.
