The recent market stumble coincides with uncertainty over the Federal Reserve’s direction and a decline in the S&P 500. The crypto market is still recovering from a flash crash on October 10, where exchanges liquidated more than $19 billion in leveraged positions. Comments from Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell hinting at the last rate cut of the year also affected crypto markets.

Some believe the crypto sector’s remarkable run may be over for the time being, as Bitcoin dipped under $100k on Tuesday. The overall outlook for crypto appears to be souring, with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies experiencing sharp declines over the past week.
