In afternoon trading on Tuesday, Materials stocks are the best performing sector, with Freeport-McMoran Copper & Gold and Celanese Corp leading the way. The Materials Select Sector SPDR ETF is also up on the day and year-to-date. The Services sector is also performing well, with Las Vegas Sands Corp and Wynn Resorts Ltd showing gains.
