Uber Technologies reported strong third-quarter 2025 results, with earnings per share of $3.11 surpassing expectations and revenues of $13.46 billion beating estimates. The majority of revenues came from Mobility, increasing 20% year over year. Delivery segment revenues also rose, while Freight revenues remained flat. Adjusted EBITDA surged 33% year over year.
Gross bookings from Mobility and Delivery increased, with total gross bookings reaching $49.74 billion. Uber ended the quarter with $8.43 billion in cash and cash equivalents. For the fourth quarter, the company expects gross bookings between $52.25 billion-$53.75 billion and adjusted EBITDA of $2.41 billion to $2.51 billion.
In a similar sector, Alphabet’s third-quarter 2025 earnings of $2.87 per share exceeded expectations and revenues of $102.35 billion increased 16% year over year. Net revenues, excluding TAC, rose 17.3%. TAC was $14.88 billion. Alphabet’s performance beat estimates, showcasing strong growth in a competitive market.
