Shares of Fiserv have declined 70% in the past 52 weeks, significantly underperforming the S&P 500. The stock is down 69.2% YTD, lagging behind the Global X FinTech ETF.

After an underwhelming Q3 earnings release on Oct. 29, Fiserv’s stock plunged 44%. Total revenue increased slightly to $5.3 billion, but adjusted revenue missed estimates. Adjusted EPS fell 11.3% YoY.

Analysts expect Fiserv’s EPS to decline 1.6% this fiscal year. The consensus rating is “Hold,” with 36 analysts covering the stock.

BNP Paribas Exane downgraded Fiserv to “Neutral” with a $62 price target on Nov. 5. The mean price target is $82.30, representing a 31.3% premium, with a Street-high target of $127.50.
