Today, we are using the stock screener to find stocks with a Buy rating and then looking at a couple of bullish option trade ideas. The two companies that meet our criteria are Tesla (TSLA) and Apple (AAPL).
For Tesla, we are considering a bull put spread strategy where we sell an out-of-the-money put and buy a further out-of-the-money put. This trade involves selling the January expiry $410 strike put and buying the $400 strike put, resulting in a credit of around $1.35 per contract. The trade has a return potential of 15.61%.
For Apple, a similar bull put spread trade involves selling the January expiry $265 strike put and buying the $255 strike put, resulting in a credit of around $1.74 per contract. The trade has a return potential of 21.07%.
Both trades come with risks, and investors should always manage risk and consult a financial advisor before making any investment decisions. Options are risky and can result in a loss of 100% of the investment.
