UiPath’s shares have surged by 30% in 2025. The company will join the S&P MidCap 400 index, replacing Synovus Financial. S&P Dow Jones Indices announced changes to the index for early January, with UiPath set to become part of the index on Friday. Versant Media Group, a spinoff of Comcast, will replace Brandywine Realty Trust in the S&P SmallCap 600 Index. Inclusion in an index can expose a stock to more investors and funds that track those indices. UiPath shares were up 5% in recent trading and have increased by 30% this year.
