Alstom signs a contract worth 20.2 billion Mexican pesos with the Railway Transport Regulatory Agency for the supply of 47 DMU passenger trains in Mexico. The trains will be manufactured at Alstom’s Ciudad Sahagún plant, with over 76% national content. The contract also includes maintenance for 5 years, depot fitting, and refuelling stations. The trains will be state-of-the-art, comfortable, and reliable, meeting the highest international standards of modern mobility with maximum speeds of around 165 km/h and capacity for up to 600 passengers.
