French specialty materials provider Arkema has received ISCC PLUS certification for specialty polyester resins at its Gissi facility in Italy. This certification allows for the use of alternative feedstocks in polyurethane systems for various industries. The mass balance chain helps ensure the replacement of fossil-based raw materials with certified feedstock. Arkema’s global business director highlighted the milestone of all advanced liquid resins facilities being ISCC PLUS certified. Arkema reported sales of €9.5bn in 2024 and operates in 55 countries with 21,150 employees.
