Atos Group has signed a binding agreement to sell its South American operations to Brazilian company Semantix. The transaction includes approximately 2,800 professionals across Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Uruguay, and Peru. This move is part of Atos Group’s Genesis Transformation plan aimed at sustainable growth and improved profitability. The acquisition will expand Semantix’s portfolio, creating one of South America’s largest AI & Data Enterprise services providers. The deal is expected to close in the coming months, with Nelson Campelo transitioning to CEO of Semantix and Leonardo Santos Poça D’água becoming Executive Chairman.
