Biotalys has received regulatory approval from the EPA for its biofungicide, EVOCA, making it the first protein-based biofungicide ever approved by the EPA. EVOCA targets botrytis and powdery mildew in fruits and vegetables while minimizing risks to beneficial organisms and the environment. Biotalys plans to advance state registration in California and Florida and has entered the peer review phase in Europe. They are also preparing to submit EVOCA NG for regulatory approval, with expectations for registrations in the U.S. by 2028-29 and commercial launches in markets valued at $1.2 billion by 2029-30.
