Bitcoin has outperformed most other cryptocurrency sectors in recent months, indicating ongoing capital and investment preference for BTC. Glassnode reported that over the past three months, Bitcoin’s average return surpassed nearly all other crypto sectors, highlighting a market environment where capital concentration favors BTC.

Despite a 26% decline over the past three months, Bitcoin’s performance has been slightly better than the overall 27.5% decline in total market capitalization. This is in contrast to larger declines seen in most other crypto sectors, with Ether falling approximately 36% to levels below $3,000.

Nick Ruck from LVRG Research noted that capital inflows continue to favor Bitcoin, reflecting investor preference for BTC’s stability. Bitcoin’s dominant position in the market and increasing institutional interest contribute to its appeal as a safer haven in the volatile crypto landscape, leaving altcoins struggling to stay relevant.
