Construction is progressing at Al Bateen Business Airport (AZI), with the facility set to open in the second half of 2026. The new service center will serve as a key hub for Bombardier business aircraft operations in the Middle East, offering world-class maintenance capabilities for the entire Bombardier aircraft portfolio, including the upcoming Global 8000. The Abu Dhabi Airports leadership has joined Bombardier management on-site at the flagship service center in Abu Dhabi, marking significant progress towards the facility’s completion.
The state-of-the-art service center at Al Bateen Business Airport represents a major milestone in Bombardier’s strategy to expand its global network of service and customer support, delivering world-class maintenance capabilities in the Middle East. The center, spanning approximately 120,000 square feet, will feature a 55,000 square foot hangar and dedicated parts depot, providing a full range of maintenance services for Bombardier’s aircraft lineup. Once operational in 2026, the center is expected to create nearly 100 highly skilled jobs in Abu Dhabi, enhancing Bombardier’s presence in this key financial hub.
