Corn futures rose on Thursday, with most front months up 3 to 4 cents and December up 6 ¼. The national average Cash Corn price was $4.02 3/4. USDA reported 100,800 MT of corn sold to Colombia and 392,500 MT to Mexico. Export Sales data showed 1.99 MMT of corn sold in a week, the third-largest total this year. Brazilian corn exports increased by 6.48% year-over-year, but fell 22.58% from last month. Statistics Canada estimates 2025 corn production at 14.867 MMT, a 3.1% decrease from last year. Corn prices closed higher, with Dec 25 Corn at $4.37 3/4, Nearby Cash at $4.02 3/4, Mar 26 Corn at $4.47 1/4, and May 26 Corn at $4.54 1/2.
