Cotton futures experienced losses on Monday, with crude oil futures rising $1 per barrel. The USDA Export Sales report showed a decrease in cotton sales from the previous week. The latest online auction from The Seam saw 3,605 bales sold at an average price of 59.75 cents/lb. ICE certified cotton stocks remained steady at 20,344 bales. The Adjusted World Price was updated to 50.77 cents/lb last week. Cotton prices closed lower on December 25, with Dec 25 Cotton closing at 62.83, Mar 26 Cotton at 64.64, and May 26 Cotton at 65.8.
