In early trading on Thursday, Home Depot’s shares rose by 2.5%, making it the best performing Dow Jones component. However, year to date, the company has lost 6.0% of its value. On the other hand, Apple is the worst performer of the day, with shares down 1.5% but up 6.9% year to date.

UnitedHealth Group is trading down 1.2%, while Caterpillar is up 1.9% on the day. These two components are also making moves in the market today.
