In early trading on Tuesday, Amazon.com’s shares topped the list of best performing Dow components, up 1.1%. Year to date, Amazon.com has a 5.2% gain. On the flip side, McDonald’s was the worst performer, down 1.5% for the day but showing a 7.4% gain year to date.
