French automotive technology supplier Forvia has started the divestment process for parts of its portfolio, including its interiors business group. The interiors unit could be sold, but the company cannot confirm or provide details on potential offers. Forvia is conducting a strategic review of its assets with a focus on reducing debt.
Forvia, created in 2022 through Faurecia and Hella merger, aims to sell part of its car interiors business to lower debt. It has completed a quarter of its €1bn divestment plan, with deals ranging from €50m to €200m. The interiors division generated €1.09bn in sales in Q3 2025, contributing 18% to group revenue.
The group plans to reduce net debt to below 1.5 times core earnings next year through asset disposals. Forvia recently partnered with Wipro to optimize its ADAS applications, focusing on surround-view technology for safer parking. The company prioritizes disciplined execution of its strategic roadmap amidst ongoing divestment processes.
