Financial influencer Codie Sanchez recently featured Juiced Fuel founders Korey and Caroline McDavid on her YouTube channel. Juiced Fuel provides a mobile gas station service where customers can request fuel and have their tank refueled by a team member, saving time and hassle.
Korey was inspired to start Juiced Fuel when his wife, pregnant with their second child, disliked going to the gas station. The couple chose a simple, profitable, easy-to-scale business model that didn’t require much upfront cash, leading to the mobile refueling service’s creation.
Juiced Fuel started with one truck and two tanks for premium and regular fuel. Korey initially delivered the fuel himself while working a full-time job. By the second year, he hired drivers, and now in the third year, the company has four employees dedicated to fuel delivery, allowing Korey to focus on growing the business.
The initial investment of $80,000 in Juiced Fuel quickly paid off, with earnings reaching $77,000 in the first year. The company’s revenue increased significantly to $385,000 in the second year and surpassed $1 million in its third year of operation, showcasing impressive growth and profitability.
Codie Sanchez prefers investing in small and medium businesses below $10 million EBITDA, focusing on “boring businesses” like laundromats and lawn care services over flashy companies. Her approach emphasizes sustainable, practical investments with long-term growth potential.
