Iraq’s Khor Mor gas field has resumed operations after a drone attack, supplying gas to regional power stations. The KRG’s Electricity Ministry confirmed the restart on 30 November. The field is a key gas supplier in the Kurdistan Region and is crucial for power generation plants in the area. Dana Gas, the operator, reported a rocket strike on a storage tank, halting production and causing power outages. Another attack on fuel tanker trucks in Erbil resulted in one death and injuries. The assaults have impacted energy production in the region. Iraqi Kurdish Prime Minister praised Dana Gas for resilience amid 11 attacks on the Khor Mor field. Dana Gas and Crescent Petroleum recently announced the start of commercial gas sales from the KM250 gas expansion project, increasing output capacity.
