Miata Metals Corp. has released drill results from the Jons Trend Zone at the Sela Creek Gold Project in Suriname. Gold mineralization has been confirmed across a 750m x 250m corridor to a depth of 200m, with a 500m step-out doubling the known mineralized footprint. Significant gold intercepts were found, supporting potential open-pit resource development.

Drilling at Jons Trend has shown wide, consistent gold mineralization in a turbidite sequence, indicating bulk-tonnage potential for open-pit mining. The strike length of the mineralization is currently 750m and remains open, with multiple zones of mineralization identified. The project-scale gold control structures suggest continued mineralization to depths over 1 km.

A 500m step-out hole, 25DDH-SEL-039, extended the mineralization at Jons Trend to 750m, yielding 4.04 g/t gold over 4.9m and 0.80 g/t gold over 13.6m. Drill results from other holes confirm the continuity of the mineralization, with significant gold grades intersected. The magnetic data indicates potential for gold mineralization to depths of 1.5 km.

Miata Metals plans to accelerate its discovery-focused program in 2026 with a fully funded two-rig program. Several prospects are drill-ready, with the objective of establishing Sela Creek as a major gold district in Suriname. CEO Dr. Jacob Verbaas is optimistic about the potential of Jons Trend and other prospects on the property.

The Company’s drill results, collar locations, and other information are available on its website. Samples were analyzed at a certified laboratory, and quality control measures were implemented. The scientific and technical information in the news release has been reviewed and approved by a Qualified Person. Miata Metals Corp. is focused on mineral exploration and development, with interests in gold projects in Suriname.
