Northrop Grumman has started production of Bushmaster guns for the Marine Corps. The guns will be used on the Marine Corps’ amphibious combat vehicles and will replace the current systems. The production is part of a $97 million contract awarded to Northrop Grumman by the U.S. Navy. The new guns are expected to enhance the Marine Corps’ capabilities in combat situations.
