Ondas Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:ONDS) saw a significant 18.21% jump in stock price on Friday, closing at $9.22 per share. This increase was attributed to the creation of a new Chief Operating Officer role filled by Brigadier General Patrick Huston, who will also continue as the company’s general counsel.
Huston, who joined Ondas Autonomous Systems (OAS) advisory board in September 2025, will lead operational execution, drive disciplined programs, integrate acquisitions, and scale operations across the company’s subsidiaries. Additionally, he will oversee legal, regulatory, compliance, and corporate governance functions.
Chairman and CEO Eric Brock stated that Patrick’s expanded role reflects the growing importance of integrated legal and operational leadership as Ondas continues to expand across defense, security, and government markets. His military operations experience and understanding of emerging technologies will be valuable in executing the company’s strategy and integrating recent acquisitions.
