Perenco has increased oil production in Chad to over 18,000 bpd after completing a drilling campaign at Badila and Mangara fields. The project involved 12 new wells, including horizontal ones targeting the Upper Cretaceous reservoir, along with upgrades to processing facilities. The company plans an eight-well campaign at the Krim development next.

In Central Africa, Perenco is constructing Kombi 2 platform in Congo’s Kombi-Likalala-Libondo permit. Expected online in early 2026, Kombi 2 will recover about 7 million cubic feet of gas per day and unlock 10 million barrels of reserves, part of a $200 million investment supporting Congo’s oil production goal.

Perenco’s Congo-Brazzaville portfolio contributed 75,000 boe/d to the company’s output last year, with strong performance at Emeraude and PNGF Sud fields. New permits like Ikalou, Mwafi, Awa, Foukanda, and Djambala also played a role in boosting production.
