Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest has introduced a new set of ETFs called ARK Diet. These ETFs aim to provide exposure to ARK’s innovation strategy with limited downside protection and capped upside potential. The first ETF in the series, ARK Diet Q4 Buffer ETF (ARKT), resets annually and is based on the performance of ARK’s flagship ETF, ARK Innovation Fund (ARKK). The structure of ARKT involves options to provide downside protection and some upside participation. However, concerns arise about ARKK’s flat performance since early 2022. Investors will need to monitor how ARKT performs based on ARKK’s price fluctuations.
