Soybean prices are down at midday, with soybeans trading 5 to 7 cent losses. Soymeal futures are also down, while Soy Oil futures saw slight gains. USDA reported 920,194 MT of soybean export shipments the week ending November 27, with no shipments to China. AgRural estimates Brazilian soybean crop at 89% planted.
USDA’s Export Sales data for the week ending on October 23 showed 1.45 MMT of soybean sales, exceeding expectations. Soybean meal sales came in at 640,021 MT and bean oil sales at 29,820 MT. Jan 26 Soybeans are at $11.30 3/4, down 7 cents, while nearby cash is at $10.60, down 4 1/2 cents.
USDA tallied soybean export shipments at 920,194 MT, down from last year but up from the previous week. Italy, Egypt, and Mexico were top destinations. Marketing year exports for 2025/26 are 45.6% below last year. StoneX estimates the Brazilian soybean crop at 177.2 MMT, slightly lower than previous estimates.
