In November, Ninety One Global Gold was the top-performing fund, up 14% last month and 146% in 2025. Candriam Equities L Oncology was the best healthcare fund, while Jupiter Gold & Silver Fund was the largest among top performers with nearly £1.8 billion. Gold equity funds have been the best-performing category this year.
Healthcare and biotechnology funds were also among the top 10 performers. Healthcare bounced back with increased M&A activity. Candriam Equities L Oncology was up 14% in November and 20% this year. Pictet – Biotech gained 11.82% in November and 45.43% year to date.
The actively managed Ninety One Global Gold fund gained 14.49% in November, outperforming the average fund in the equity precious metals category. SVS Sanlam Global Gold & Resources rose 14.14%, and BlackRock Gold & General gained 13.78%. WS Ruffer Gold Fund increased by 9.05%.
Quilter Investors Precious Metals Equity Fund rose 13.23% in November, while AXA Framlington Biotech gained 9.03%. SVS Baker Steel Gold and Precious Metals Fund climbed by 11.57%. Jupiter Gold & Silver Fund rose 9.00% in November.
