The UK economy contracted in October, with GDP falling by 0.1%, missing market expectations. Services output declined by 0.3% and construction output by 0.6%, but production output increased by 1.1%.
In the three months leading up to October, real GDP also decreased by 0.1%, with services output stagnating, construction output dropping by 0.3%, and production output falling by 0.5%.
