The wheat market closed mixed on Friday, with Chicago SRW futures up 1 to 2 cents while KC wheat saw losses. Export Sales data will be released on Monday, with analysts expecting 300,000-600,000 MT in wheat sales. Spec traders increased net short positions in CBT wheat futures, while managed money trimmed positions in KC wheat. South Korea purchased 50,000 MT of wheat from the US and 9,200 MT from Canada. Argentina’s wheat crop estimate increased to 27.1 MMT. CBOT and KCBT wheat futures closed slightly up or down, while MGEX wheat futures closed higher.
