Wheat prices are down in all three markets early on Tuesday, following Monday’s pressure. Chicago SRW futures open lower by 8 to 9 cents, with new selling interest and an increase in open interest. Export Inspections report shows 488,025 MT of wheat shipped in the week of 12/11, 23.2% higher than the previous week. Export Sales data for the week ending on November 20 shows 361,715 MT in bookings, a 5-week low. Spec funds increase net short positions in CBT and KC wheat futures. French farm ministry estimates 2026 soft wheat acreage at 4.56 million hectares. Various wheat futures markets close lower on Monday.
