AMD has launched the new Ryzen AI Embedded P100 and X100 Series processors, combining high-performance CPU cores, GPU, and NPU for low-power AI acceleration. The processors are designed to power AI-driven applications in automotive, industrial, and autonomous systems. The P100 Series processors, with 4-6 CPU cores, offer up to a 35% faster GPU performance and up to 50 AI TOPS. These processors are optimized for in-vehicle experiences and industrial automation, providing immersive graphics and on-device AI acceleration. The processors also come with an open, safe software stack for faster system design. AMD’s new processors are expected to begin sampling soon, with production shipments expected in the second quarter. AMD conducted testing on the Ryzen AI Embedded P132a and Ryzen Embedded V2A46 processors, showing a 35% performance improvement on the P132a. The Ryzen AI Embedded P132a platform for automotive offers up to 84% higher single-thread performance and 125% higher multi-thread performance compared to the V2A46. Additionally, the Ryzen AI Embedded P100 series processors have 3 times the TOPS performance compared to the Ryzen Embedded 8000 series. Boost Clock Frequency on both CPU and GPU will vary based on factors such as thermal conditions and workloads. AMD trademarks are acknowledged.
