The government of Bermuda is partnering with Coinbase and Circle to create a “fully onchain” national economy using USDC stablecoin and Coinbase’s Base infrastructure. The initiative aims to lower costs, increase opportunities, and enhance the future of finance for Bermudians. Pilot programs will include stablecoin-based payments and digital literacy initiatives.
