Blue Elephant Energy (BEE) will acquire a 381MW wind portfolio in Germany from WIND-projekt, increasing its wind power capacity to 533MW. The portfolio includes 37 operational wind farms and four under construction, with a projected annual output to power 33,000 households. Regulatory approval is pending for closing in Q1 2026.
The deal also includes three additional sites totalling 75MW, expected to come online in 2027. BEE focuses on solar, wind, and battery storage and plans to collaborate further with WIND-projekt. The company has built a project pipeline of 9.5GW since its establishment in 2016.
WIND-projekt is pleased to partner with BEE, aiming to grow together and work on upcoming projects. The acquisition secures a high-quality wind portfolio and triples BEE’s wind assets in Germany. Future collaborations are planned, pending regulatory approval for final closing in early 2026.
