Corn futures closed lower on Thursday, with prices down 1 to 2 cents in the front months. The national average cash corn price was $3.82 1/2. USDA reported private export sales of 500,302 MT of corn to unknown destinations and 260,000 MT to Japan. Export sales data showed 1.14 MMT of 2025/26 corn sold, with Mexico, Japan, and Taiwan as top buyers. CONAB projected Brazilian corn production at 138.87 MMT. Mar 26 Corn closed at $4.20 1/4, Nearby Cash was $3.82 1/2, May 26 Corn closed at $4.27 3/4, and Jul 26 Corn closed at $4.34.
