GFG Resources Inc. reports on the 12-hole Phase 2-2025 drill program at the Aljo Gold Project, successfully confirming and expanding mineralization across the Main, Hangingwall, and Footwall Zones in the Timmins Gold District of Ontario, Canada. Infill drilling revealed high-grade and broad intercepts, supporting the geological model (see Figures 1 and 2).
Key highlights include high-grade HW intercepts, visible gold, and expanding mineralization at depth. Notable results include ALJ-25-036 with 1.01 g/t Au over 51.5 m, ALJ-25-035 with 10.45 g/t Au over 2.1 m, and ALJ-25-032 with 3.68 g/t Au over 4.5 m. Infill drilling confirmed continuity of high-grade gold in the Main and HW Zones.
The FW system saw extensions at depth, with notable results from ALJ-25-018ext at 2.57 g/t Au over 2.0 m. Step-out drilling east of Aljo targeted underexplored areas, with encouraging geological observations. GFG is well-financed for an aggressive 2026 exploration program, including continued drilling at Aljo and regional testing on the Goldarm Property.
GFG plans to focus on resource growth at Aljo with systematic diamond drilling targeting infill and step-outs to expand mineralization along strike and at depth. A regional exploration program across the Goldarm Property will focus on base-of-till sampling near the Pipestone Fault. The Pen Property will see advancements based on encouraging results and BOT sampling.
The 2026 exploration strategy aims to leverage GFG’s land position in the Timmins Gold Camp for multiple discovery opportunities. Infill drilling at Aljo confirmed structural and grade continuity within the HW and Main Zones, while deeper drilling expands the FW system. Ongoing geological modeling informs aggressive step-out plans for 2026.
