New proprietary seismic data has identified a new Natural Hydrogen drill target at “Bracken” at the Grasslands Project, Saskatchewan-Montana border. Bracken will test a unique play concept with different trap and seal mechanisms than Lawson, Canada’s first Natural Hydrogen drilling discovery. MAX Power is advancing Lawson towards commerciality while exploring Natural Hydrogen across Saskatchewan.

Bracken is part of MAX Power’s 75-km-wide Grasslands Project, with the potential for district-scale Natural Hydrogen accumulations. The project benefits from the company’s MAXX LEMI platform for Natural Hydrogen exploration. Bracken will test a new stratigraphic play concept, complementing the structural play concept at Lawson, showcasing the potential for large-scale Natural Hydrogen in Saskatchewan.
