Yukon Metals Corp. reports promising results from its autumn 2025 Induced Polarization and geochemical soil sampling program on the AZ Property, expanding exploration potential with multiple geophysical targets and copper-dominant soil anomalies. Chargeability and resistivity data indicate clear drill targets for 2026, with a large copper-gold soil anomaly identified.
The exploration program identified strong and widespread copper values, including up to 0.22% Cu in soils, with multiple gold values exceeding 0.4 g/t Au, associated with molybdenum, a porphyry indicator. New targets build on previous drilling results in 2025, expanding the Property’s exploration opportunity.
Results highlight the Southeast occurrence as the most prospective area on the Property, showing a broad Cu-Mo-Au + Ag soil anomaly coinciding with intrusive rocks and IP chargeability features typical of porphyry-style systems. The strongest soil samples returned values of up to 2,210 ppm Cu, up to 248 ppm Mo, and up to 1.14 g/t Au.
A 1.8-kilometre pole-dipole IP survey line over the Southeast occurrence area identified high-amplitude chargeability anomalies and a chargeability anomaly coincident with reduced resistivity, suggesting a porphyry-style mineralizing system. Integration with other data indicates drill targets related to copper-bearing intrusive rocks.
The 2025 soil geochemical program included 643 soil samples across the Southern Property area, revealing elevated copper values, particularly in the Eastern portion where anomalies coincide with molybdenum, gold, and silver. Multiple copper-dominant soil anomaly zones were identified, defining two main target areas.
Soil samples were analyzed for a broad 51-element suite, with elevated copper values concentrated in the Eastern portion of the survey area. The Southeast occurrence area returned high values of up to 2,210 ppm Cu, up to 248 ppm Mo, and up to 1.14 g/t Au, indicating a potential porphyry-style core zone.
Yukon Metals engaged Yukon-based and local First Nation contractors for the exploration program, emphasizing community involvement. The Company is well-positioned to unlock new mineral discoveries in the Yukon territory, with a focus on sustainable growth and prosperity for local communities and shareholders.
The Yukon’s underexplored mineral belt offers strong discovery potential, supported by skilled local workforce and recent discoveries like Snowline Gold Corp.’s Rogue Project – Valley Discovery. Forward-looking information indicates the potential for a major copper-gold porphyry system at the AZ Property, with clear drill targets for 2026 and plans for continued exploration.
