Packaging company ProMach has acquired American Holt, DMA Solution, and Pride Engineering, collectively known as AmHolt, from Arcline Investment Management. The financial details of the deal have not been disclosed. This move expands ProMach’s capabilities in the consumer packaged goods sector, focusing on components for various industries.
American Holt, DMA Solution, and Pride Engineering are involved in designing and producing packaging components for beverages, food, protein, home care products, and aluminium can production. The AmHolt workforce, operating in Massachusetts, Quebec, and Minnesota, will now be part of ProMach’s Primary Packaging division led by group president Doug Stambaugh.
ProMach’s president and CEO, Mark Anderson, expressed pride in welcoming the AmHolt companies into their portfolio. Former AmHolt CEO Cliff Gilbert will now serve as a senior vice president within ProMach’s Primary Packaging unit. This acquisition aligns with ProMach’s commitment to offering a comprehensive experience for their customers.
In recent years, ProMach has been making strategic acquisitions to enhance its offerings. This includes the recent purchase of DFT Technology and the acquisition of labels producer Etiflex in 2024. ProMach’s expansion also includes the acquisitions of Reepack, a packaging machinery manufacturer in Italy, and Serpa Packaging Solutions in previous years.
