Snowflake (SNOW) is enhancing its data and AI capabilities through strategic acquisitions. The recent acquisition of Datometry aims to simplify customers’ transition to Snowflake’s AI data cloud. Snowflake also acquired Observe for AI-powered observability, positioning itself as a leader in the AI space. Snowflake expects product revenues to grow by 27% in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026.

However, Snowflake faces tough competition from Amazon (AMZN) and Oracle (ORCL) in the AI space. Amazon’s collaboration with Infosys accelerates enterprise adoption of generative AI, while Oracle’s Autonomous AI Lakehouse and Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence offer new AI-powered capabilities for customers.

Snowflake’s stock performance has been mixed, with shares underperforming the Computer & Technology sector but outperforming the Internet Software industry. Despite trading at a premium, Snowflake’s valuation is promising with a 44.58% increase in fiscal 2026 earnings year over year. Snowflake is rated a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold) company.
