Indian online food delivery platform Swiggy has launched EatRight, a new section featuring healthier meal options like high-protein dishes and low-calorie meals in over 50 cities, with 1.8 million dishes from 200,000 restaurants. Demand for healthier food has doubled in Tier-2 cities compared to metros, with key markets identified as Chandigarh, Guwahati, Ludhiana, and Bhubaneswar. Swiggy is also expanding services for office-based customers, introducing DeskEats in tech parks and corporate offices across 30 cities. The company aims to cater to health-conscious consumers and improve engagement with office workers through these initiatives.
