Trident Resources Corp. has started a 10,000 meter winter diamond drilling program at the Contact Lake Gold Project in Saskatchewan to confirm historical gold mineralization and test new targets. The 2026 program follows a successful 2025 drill program, marking the first exploration at the site in 30 years. With a fully-funded winter drill program, Trident aims to unlock the potential of the Contact Lake project. The drill program will consist of approximately 40 holes targeting high-priority zones identified through structural mapping and geophysical surveys. The program will also include land and ice-based drilling at Contact Lake and land-based holes at the adjacent Preview SW deposit.
