Voice AI startup Deepgram raised $130 million at a $1.3 billion valuation to expand globally, introduce new models, and acquire other companies. The funding round was led by AVP with participation from investors like Alumni Ventures and Citi Ventures. Deepgram provides AI voice agents for real-time conversations at scale. They plan to expand to new markets, support more languages, and acquire OfOne, a voice AI platform for drive-thrus. Over 1,300 organizations use Deepgram’s API platform for conversational customer service AI.
